IAN PALMER
'Interview with the Captain'
Ian is real Petersfield man, educated at TPS and a product of the exceptional Petersfield RFC youth and colts programme. He has now established himself as very competent No.8 and is thoroughly looking forward to his first season as captain of his town club.
He says “The players at Penns Place, and especially the 1st XV are looking forward to repaying the loyalty of our many supporters -sponsors, Club officers and members, those who attend the pre league match lunches, or those who simply turn up on a Saturday afternoon.. We want to give them spectacular, winning rugby. We have a young and talented squad of players who are determined to take PRFC forward.”
He continued “Our determination is to continue to improve and increase our playing, coaching and back up resources. I think we have a fantastic set-up at Penns Place now . Most of the lads have been involved with the Club for long enough to understand that it's time to stop talking about potential, it's time to deliver results.”
